Casino Euro Twitter account review

Casino Euro, along with Unibet, is one of the largest online casino operators in the industry. It proudly proclaims itself to be “Europe’s favourite online casino”, offering a large choice of casino games to play alongside a live casino. But nevertheless, it has yet to really use social media in a significant way, as is demonstrated by its underused Twitter page.

Frequency of posting tweets

Casino Euro Twitter page

Casino Euro’s Twitter feed is, in its current form, all but dead. It has a grand total of 41 tweets, the last of which was posted up on June 16, 2011 – almost a year ago at the time of writing.

Even when the feed was being updated, posting was erratic at best. Even during a busy month, Casino Euro would post up at most three or four tweets; and most months, the number was frequently half that. For the feed to be effect, Casino Euro should really be posting once or twice a day.

Tweet content

Its tweets revolve almost exclusively around its casino content, such as current promotions, and new games and slots that are on offer. They also comment on the jackpot totals that are on offer in certain games, such as a €5.1 million jackpot that was available on the Mega Fortune jackpot.

With no sign of any retweets and a relatively low number of followers for a casino of this size, there is room for improvement here. Casino Euro could benefit not only by posting up more tweets on its feed, but also using it to interact with its customer base – either by direct conversation or retweeting interesting posts.

Social media in the casino industry is already proving to be important, and Casino Euro could reputation no end if it embraced this in the same way companies like Unibet have.

Number of followers

At the time of writing, Casino Euro has 161 followers. Casino Euro should try to increase significantly the number and frequency of its tweets in order to make the account more dynamic and attract more followers.
